About HobbyCare
For over 22 years HobbyCare, in partnership with Hobsonville School, has been providing families with care and support, helping students grow and flourish on their journey inside and outside of Hobsonville School.
We have been working with the Ministry of Social Development for more than 17 years to ensure our practices remain compliant with their auditing standards and that HobbyCare remains an OSCAR accredited provider.
HobbyCare assists students with:

What we offer
After School Care
2:45pm to 5:45pm
Children attending our afternoon session are provided afternoon tea and time and assistance to do their homework.
Supervised free play and organised activities that stimulate and enhance communication skills carry on through until the end of the session before pack up time.
Children also have the opportunity and space to just chill and relax with their friends.

Breakfast Club
7:00am to 8:30 am
Knowing how busy mornings can be for working parents, HobbyCare has you covered.
We aim to give your child a solid start to their day, with breakfast and fun morning activities and games to prep them for their school day with a full tummy and an open and engaged attitude.
Being on the school grounds also ensures that your child will get to school and settle in, well before the bell goes.
About Us
We want your child to feel safe and relaxed in our care. HobbyCare is a place where they can have fun while learning and growing. Our trained and qualified staff have created a space where the children can express themselves creatively, have fun, learn new skills and develop their social abilities.
We not only provide a place where homework can get done with some help, but also an environment for the children to be creative with drawing or Lego, sports equipment, exploring the playground, or take part in some healthy competition playing board games, table tennis or foosball. Whatever your child is into, we try our best to accommodate and join in on the fun.
